Engineered herringbone wood flooring is a product with high-quality components, a useful design, resistance to wear and moisture, and expert workmanship. It works extremely well, has a stable structure, and is relatively simple to install. However, it is less expensive than solid wood flooring.
This piece is also part of the Fumed oak collection, which uses a fuming method to enhance and deepen the grain of the wood. This method is used due to the high tannin content of raw, untreated oak. Other types of wood, though they darken much less, can also go through this process. Smoking wood is more durable than staining and will not hide the grain; the fumed oak line has a more traditional appearance that will liven up your interior spaces.

1. THE SILK MATT UV FINISH
Surface finishes abound and differ depending on the high quality wood species and desired look. Meanwhile, the Silk Matt UV finish has a 5% ultra matt gloss that feels like a natural oiled finish while retaining the UV lacquer's wear resistance and anti-scratch properties.
2. REAL SOILD WOOD WEAR LAYER
Natural floors are considered to last longer and be of higher quality because they can be sanded and refinished and have a thicker wear layer. The majority of engineered wood floors, regardless of wear layer thickness, can be recoated, and if maintained properly and cared for, all engineered floors can last a very long time, making them a worthwhile investment.
3. SUPPORTIVE CENTRAL CORE
The core of the engineered chevron wood floor is made up of a composite of softwood, high density fiberboard, or plywood, which makes it more applicable and produces a more stable floor, particularly in situations with shifting moisture levels.
